Nishann LaNata is no stranger to military life. As the daughter and granddaughter of military veterans, she deeply understands the unique demands that come with life in a military household. Additionally, Nishann is the wife of a service member and continues to experience, firsthand, the distinct realities that come along with being part of a military family. Nishann began her career as a Financial Advisor for First Command in 2019. And after spending time in Japan's Yokota Air Force Base, she and her husband soon found their way to Tennessee in hopes of setting down their roots and starting a family together.
Nishann continues her work as a Financial Advisor serving the Middle Tennessee area. She has proved to be an essential part of the First Command family and the impact they have on the lives of the many men and women who serve the U.S. and its communities. Since its inception in 1958, First Command has undergone many changes. Their focus on the military and their passion for helping each client pursue financial security has been the driving force behind First Command's ability to stand the test of time. Nishann explains, "Who we focus on is what has allowed us to stand so long and so strong."
Nishann uses her personal and professional experiences to incorporate First Command's methods of financial planning and coaching, guiding clients through the tasks of cash management, risk management, and wealth management. "We focus on financial security because it's defined differently for every person or family unit," she states, "... it's really just making sure folks are taken care of."
While working with First Command, Nishann has been a part of an ever-growing family. She works with a group of advisors that are more like family than coworkers. They work together to champion the hard work and sacrifices that are so dutifully given by those who have served our country and community. "We would not be where we are today, in America, without our service members...the least we can do is create a financial plan for them and give them tips and tools to be able to work towards financial security or the life they really want to have." Nishann LaNata is a ferocious advocate for clients and their families, guiding them on a path of pursuing the financial freedom they deserve. She uses her skills to help protect the futures of those who have protected our freedoms and does it with grace.
