No-Bake Peanut Butter Balls

A Simple and Delicious Recipe for Pets + Kids

Peanut Butter Balls are a delicious, high protein snack that’s perfect for kids. With a few simple modifications, you can also make this recipe pet-friendly. So, grab two bowls and get ready to mix up these delicious and easy-to-make treats.

Kid-Friendly Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • ⅔ cup natural peanut butter

  • 2 Tablespoons honey

  • ¼ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • ½ cup flax seeds

Pet-Friendly Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree

  • ¼-⅓ cup natural peanut butter

  • ¼ cup milk or water

  • 3 cups pre-cooked oatmeal or rolled oats (consuming uncooked oats can hurt the tummy of your pet or kid—make sure what you purchase is pre-cooked or you can cook it yourself with water and allow to dry)

Directions:

Keep your kid and pet ingredients separate. In two separate bowls, mix each set of ingredients, reserving a small portion of the oats for the end. Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Roll into ¼-inch balls. Once done, roll balls into reserved oats to lightly coat.. Place in a closed container and refrigerate for up to two weeks.

Please be careful not to mix up the two recipes or your pup could get sick! If your child or pet has any food allergies, please check with your doctor or vet first.
