Got a pothole to report? A question about a city program? Not sure which department to call? Roswell residents now have one easy number to remember and to dial: 311.
The City of Roswell has launched the new three-digit line to give residents and businesses a simple way to reach Customer Service for the everyday questions and requests that come with living here — maintenance concerns, general information, or just getting pointed to the right department.
"Providing excellent customer service starts with making it easy for residents to reach us," said Mayor Mary Robichaux. "311 gives our community one simple number to access routine City services while reinforcing that calling 911 remains the number for police, fire and medical emergencies. This is another way we're making City government more accessible and responsive to the people we serve."
What 311 Can Help With
Call 311 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., to:
- Report a maintenance concern
- Request City information
- Ask about City programs and services
- Get connected with the right department
Calls after hours go to voicemail, so no request falls through the cracks.
Good to Know
311 works when calling from a mobile phone or landline within Roswell city limits. Calling from outside the city, or can't get through? Reach Customer Service directly at (770) 641-3727.
311 isn't a replacement for the Roswell Police Department's non-emergency line — for routine police matters, call (770) 640-4160. And for anything urgent, the rule stays the same: dial 911 for police, fire, or medical emergencies.
