One Recipe, Endless Cookies

The only cookie recipe you’ll need this holiday season

Every masterpiece begins with a blank canvas - the same is true for the base of a Christmas cookie box. Add your favorite candy like heath bar, chocolate chips, and M&Ms or use your favorite cookie cutters this season to create a variety of delicious treats to box up and share with your loved ones this holiday season. 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees if baking right away.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together 7 ½ cups of all purpose flour, 4 tsp baking powder, ½ tsp salt, and set aside. 

  3. Using a stand mixer, combine 2 ½ cups (5 sticks) of room temperature, unsalted butter with 2 cups of granulated sugar. Slowly add 2 room temperature eggs, ¼ cup milk and 1 tsp vanilla extract to the bowl and beat until fully incorporated. 

  4. Add the dry ingredients to the mixing bowl and slowly blend until combined. Do not overmix. 

  5. Divide into desired number equal portions for separate cookies. Cover with plastic wrap and chill or freeze until ready to bake. 

  6. Add desired ingredients to each portion and bake until golden brown (about 8 minutes for 1 tbsp cookies).
