Tim Gill, founder and owner of Perennial Professional Services, has a fresh attitude about the work he and his team complete. “We never do the same job twice,” he says. “It makes the profession fun and refreshing—to take on new challenges every day."

Key to that success? Relationships and referrals. Many of the projects his team takes on can be traced back to positive feedback from existing clients—and that’s certainly the case for their recent work spotlighted here. “These projects all stemmed from the same group of local runners and friends,” Tim says.

“Tim Gill and his team did an excellent job on our covered deck,” Lauren Huller says. It’s an outdoor space that, in her words, “acts as our second living room” for three seasons of the year.

She’s quick to emphasize Perennial’s work ethic, too. “They’re thorough and meticulous at their craft, and excel at providing professional advice throughout your project,” she says. “They’re also transparent throughout the process … always willing to provide great suggestions to give you peace of mind.”

Lauren hopes that others can share in the satisfaction she enjoys herself. The work that Perennial Professional Services was able to do for her, she says, is something that she’s more than happy to tell others about. “We have recommended them—and will continue to recommend them—to friends and neighbors!”

It makes sense that Cristin Kiefer called on Tim’s assistance—after all, she’s his own daughter. She’s also the Building Coordinator at Loveland Primary School, where “several of my coworkers (already) had decks built by him, before we even did,” she admits. “So it was exciting to see what they had first, and then design ours.”

Not long after the completion of her covered porch and deck, it was being put to great use. “Right around the time it was finished was my son’s birthday, and then Easter weekend. It was great timing to have family over, to celebrate a birthday and holiday with the new outdoor living space,” she says. “We have four kids and large families, so it’s nice to have that outdoor option. We were thrilled.”

Cristin’s able to share a unique perspective on her father’s skillful project planning and delivery.

“I’ve obviously seen my dad’s work, and so I had a pretty good idea,” she says of how the work was carried out. More to the point, she appreciates the community-minded approach he takes when accepting new projects. “It’s nice that there’s a community feel—that it’s a local company,” she says. “The small-business feel has been really nice … but the part that’s been great for me is that I’ve been able to refer a lot of friends.”

“I work with Cristin,” Kim Dippold reports. “I was talking about wanting to add on a covered patio … we had no idea where to begin! We usually request three different quotes for any project—but after speaking with Tim, my husband said, ‘That’s who we’re working with.’ He’s just such a nice guy, and so easy to work with. We told him what we wanted, and he absolutely delivered.”

She’s quick to suggest Tim’s services to friends, as well. “I’ve recommended him to a lot of friends,” she laughs. “He’s worked on probably four or five friends’ houses … I recommend him all the time. He walked us through everything, detailing each step so there were no surprises. From start to finish, all of his workers were so nice and polite.”

Kim, who works as secretary at the School of Counseling office at the high school, loves the work that was done. “We use it all the time to entertain guests and more,” she says. “Just last night we were watching the Reds game outdoors, enjoying the gorgeous weather. Previously, we hadn’t used our backyard much—now, we’re out there all the time.”

Although these projects were all outdoor spaces, Perennial is a full service design build remodeling business.  Their kitchen and cabinetry design center is located here in Loveland and offer design and construction services for finished lower levels, kitchens and baths, room additions and screened porches, and really just about anything else you can imagine for your home.

There are other stories, too—like that of Jill Hanson, another colleague also part of Lauren, Cristin and Kim’s running group, who also recently had her front porch remodeled by Tim and his team. Community and workplace ties are strong in Loveland, and relationships like these allow small businesses like Perennial Professional Services to not just keep stride, but to point the way toward getting the most out of a home.
