The February menu was Italian-inspired genius, starting with a sublime elk bruschetta and a silky lobster bisque topped with a generous serving of lobster. Following was a course of salmon croquette so good that it defied description. A melt in your mouth short rib atop a luxurious risotto was next, ending in the dessert of a poached pear with local honeycomb. As you would expect from Stafford House Provisions, each course was expertly paired with a glass of wine that truly brought out the best in both the grapes and the dish.
