The team behind Dallas’ famed XOXO Dining Room made their lavish Houston debut in River Oaks with PostScript. Located in the Shops at Arrive River Oaks, PostScript features floor-to-ceiling pink interiors. International artist Romain Lefebvre created one-of-a-kind artwork for the restaurant, including delicately hand-painted butterflies, custom installations at the bar, wall art throughout the venue, and a gorgeous hand-painted grand piano – a focal point of the main dining room.
Every detail at PostScript is meant to lighten the mood and help guests enjoy their dining experience. In addition to striking lighting and a glowing pink quartz bar top, each booth at PostScript has Press for Champagne doorbells to keep the delivery of bubbly flowing.
Houston native and James Beard nominee Chef Bryan Caswell is at the helm in the kitchen. After his defining work at Reef, El Real Tex-Mex Cafe, and Jackson Street BBQ, PostScript is his first high-profile return to a prominent restaurant in the Bayou City.
The menu at PostScript is modern American, with dishes including caviar donuts with white chocolate crème fraîche, mustard brûlée short ribs, and Akaushi tomahawk ribeye among the showstoppers on the menu. Diners can also indulge in raw and roasted oysters, a shellfish tower, crispy rice sushi, chophouse classics, and throwback desserts like Baked Alaska and 11-layer chocolate cake.
