Pet Friendly Places

Fort Worth fun is fur everyone!

Fort Worth loves its pets! Whether they prefer being on leashes in parks, lounging lazily in a cafe, or swimming in a fresh spring; summertime is best spent with our beloved animals. And there is seemingly no shortage of pet friendly areas to explore, whether you're interested in the bustling cityscapes of downtown Cowtown or the more rural and scenic atmosphere of Gateway Park. Wherever you choose, you can be sure that in Fort Worth our vendors ensure the city is enjoyable for all, especially our furriest friends! So, this summer, treat yourself and your pet by venturing to one of the city's diverse animal attractions.

Mutts Canine Cantina- Mutts Cantina puts dogs front and center. Unlike the average dog-friendly locale, Mutts offers an off-leash experience for its furry friends. Your dog will enjoy exploring this fenced in dog paradise, complete with a water tub and hose on the back porch.

The Casual Cat Cafe-This adorable shop is not a place to bring your own cat but an adoption facility working closely with local shelters. Come cuddle and love these tiny Fort Worth natives who need forever homes. The cafe has a light selection of treats for guests to sample that is separate from the cats, ensuring complete sanitation. A fee is required for entry into the cafe.

Jersey Lilly Photo Parlor- For something different, take your pet to this old school photography studio. Get gussied up and strap a cowboy hat on your pet for a distinguished keepsake you can enjoy for years to come.

Ale trail- The Fort Worth Ale Trail includes multiple dog-friendly breweries. Patrons who show up with their dog will receive a passport, visit five dog friendly breweries along the trail and you will be gifted a T-shirt. Visit ten breweries and you'll receive a $100 gift-card to Dickie's!

Trinity Park- Get lost in the winding scenic trails of Trinity Park. Boasting over 100 miles of dog-friendly hiking trails and an expansive, inviting duck pond to cool off in, you and your dog are sure to enjoy yourselves at any time of day.
