Tim Gates' Zoohouse Art pet portraits give our four-legged family members a place next to school pictures and vacation snapshots. Tim has been an artist since he was a child; his first works were comic book inspired illustrations. In 2018, while on paternity leave, he broke up the monotony by drawing the family bulldog, Dozer. The portrait worked so well, he drew the other family pets, then friends' pets, and Zoohouse Art was born. Tim's primary medium is alcohol-based Copic markers, with other paints and pencils used for perfecting details. His work is very reasonably priced, making it accessible for most animal lovers.
