Daniele Jones moved to Venice four years ago to be closer to her grandchildren. She finds Venice to be "the perfect balance between a small town where everybody knows your name and a city where you feel anonymous." She has been making art as long as she can remember. Daniele earned a BFA from Fort Hays State University in Kansas.
“In 2007, I was asked if I could do a portrait of a pet. Shortly after, my partner, Joe, and I put together a website, and I got our first order in a week,” Daniele says. “I like to hear stories about the pets I paint so I get to know them a little and can bring their personalities to life in my art."
Daniele works in graphite or charcoal for black-and-white art as well as colored pencil and or acrylic for color portraits.
