Mount Juliet Animal Care & Control runs on dignity and love. That’s how they’ve operated since first opening their doors in December of 2008. Not only do they serve as animal control for the City of Mt. Juliet, but they are also a shelter for abandoned, unclaimed, and abused animals. It’s a 24-7, 365 days-a-year operation. It takes a staff, currently with three animal control officers and a supervisor in Stephanie Cox, full of passion for animals and people, to be able to withstand the physical and mental grind that is required of them. MJACC also prides itself on never euthanizing for lack of space or length of an animal's stay. To adopt you must complete an adoption application form. Volunteers are welcome and must be 18 or older.
