Dickens authored the Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club, a comedic romp, that revealed “Dickens' sense of gathering, community and conviviality —lively and friendly — not only helped to theme his writing but also epitomized his lifestyle,” muses Nick.

After dinner, enjoy unique and original entertainment in the Frolic Cabaret, an intimate setting to enjoy something new and very popular, a murder mystery show that is interactive and offers edge-of-your-seat fun. The Delusional Divas can also be seen on the cabaret stage to bring a little sass to your night. Additionally, up-and-coming comedic talent is presented in the Frolic Cabaret.
Pickwick & Frolic is also home to Hilarities 4th Street Theatre — celebrating its 37th year, presenting live stand-up comedy from Los Angeles to New York. Hilarities has been a launching pad for notable acts including Jerry Seinfeld, Paul Reiser, Tim Allen, Steve Harvey, Sabastian Maniscalco, Bill Burr, Bert Kreischer and countless others of both local and national notoriety.
