Pikes Peak Brewing Co.

Elevating the Craft of Beer

Pikes Peak Brewing Company sold its first beer 10 years ago this May.

It started out as a small, 10-barrel local brewery in Monument with a tiny tasting room, six flagship beers and a simple food menu.

Today, the Monument Taproom is a lively community gathering place with ample indoor seating, as well as an expansive beer garden that welcomes families and dogs. The food menu now features flatbreads, gourmet sandwiches and brats and outstanding charcuterie.

Last August, this veteran-owned, award-winning brewery opened the Lager House on the Trolley Block in downtown Colorado Springs. The 15 beers on tap include signature and seasonal brews, plus a wide range of lagers brewed on site.

“With all of the recent development and growth, Colorado Springs is a very exciting place to be,” said Chris Wright, Founder of Pikes Peak Brewing Co.  “We are proud to be the first brewery in the Springs focused on brewing lagers and look forward to bringing the same sense of community to downtown that has enabled Pikes Peak Brewing to thrive in Monument.”

The decor of the Lager House is industrial, but also carries an English pub-like warmth. The brick interior of the old Trolley Building lends this new facility an historic charm. It is simultaneously classy and relaxed, with lots of comfy indoor seating, and a sprawling 2500-square foot rooftop patio.

Stop by the Monument location over Father’s Day weekend (June 18-20) for PPBC’s 10th anniversary celebration with live music, food trucks and plenty of hand-crafted Pikes Peak Beer!
