Roswell resident Meredith Martini wanted to use her background and passions to harness the power of play for corporations, and in the summer of 2002, PlayWorks Group was born. This boutique event design and management company delivers extraordinary high-energy team building experiences to companies throughout the United States and Caribbean.

PlayWorks provides field days, beach "Olympics", scavenger hunts and other events such as the signature "AutoBond" activity (picture PVC pipes, wheels and a LOT of duct tape). Their many offerings encourage communication, creativity and sometimes a bit of competition to help corporate team members reconnect through play.

The corporate world experienced a still-growing trend in 2008 when organizations began demanding team-building activities that included social responsibility initiatives. The team at PlayWorks Group accepted the challenge by introducing a continuously growing selection of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) experiences. A recent healthcare client with 700 participants built and filled 140 Little Free Libraries through their CSR event. That’s a lot of teamwork (and a whole lot of books)!

PlayWorks Group now generates more than 70% of its business from CSR activities which brings Meredith immense satisfaction. These varied events create enduring community and workplace effects through their activities that include building bee hives, assembling bicycles, packing backpacks and even collecting food for North Fulton families.

One local favorite? The Corporate Eco Challenge serves as an annual outdoor event which PlayWorks Group developed as a fundraiser for the Chattahoochee Nature Center. The Corporate Eco Challenge combines outdoor adventure with Amazing Race elements as teams from Cox Enterprises to Alloy Personal Training compete across the grounds and even on the Chattahoochee River to support a worthy cause.

Bottom line? Team building doesn't need to be dull. PlayWorks Group provides meaningful and enjoyable team-building experiences that create lasting memories for their clients and impact on the community. Ready to play in 2025?
