An accomplished woman!

Kelsey Nicole Nelson aka "KNN" is a trailblazing multi award-winning sports journalist and communications professional who has become an influential voice throughout the DMV.

The Montgomery County native is a graduate of the Philip H. Merrill College of Journalism at the University of Maryland-College Park. Nelson received her MPS degree in Sports Industry Management (SIM), with a concentration in Strategic Marketing, Communications & Digital Media from Georgetown University.

Nelson is a multi-business owner of a podcast network, “Listen In With KNN,” and a media/communications consulting company; she is a George Washington University professor and the Director of Communications for the National Foster Youth Institute. You see and hear her commonly on Peacock/NBC Sports, SiriusXM, and FOX Sports Radio. Notably, Nelson sits on the board of the Montgomery County Sports Hall of Fame

For her work in the community, Nelson garnered the Luminary Award from the Thursday Network of the Greater Washington Urban League, the National Association of Black Journalists Sports Task Force Service Award. and a President’s Volunteer Service Award. Later this year, she will be officially launching the KNN Foundation, dedicated to educational freedom, financial empowerment and investing in communities.

On Potomac Lifesytle, Nelson “is excited to be featured on the cover of her hometown magazine,” after modeling for the May “Ladies” issue earlier in the year.
