The annual Power of the Purse fundraiser brought guests together Thursday, Sept. 17, at Rothchild Catering & Conference Center to benefit CAC Mobile Meals. The evening featured hundreds of handbags, a jewelry corner, a silent auction, dinner and Purse Madness, creating an evening of shopping with a meaningful purpose. Proceeds support Mobile Meals, which provides nutritious meals, companionship and safety checks to more than 1,100 homebound seniors across Knox County each weekday. Knoxville City Lifestyle was honored to serve as a media sponsor for the event. For more information about the vital work of Community Action Committee, visit KnoxCAC.org
