Prep to Your Door

THE ONLY ZERO-WASTE DELIVERY OFFERS MEALS WITH NO CHOPPING, NO SHOPPING & NO DISHES

Prep To Your Door is Texas’ newest, time-saving subscription service that offers healthy, ready-to-eat meals, sourced primarily from local Texas farms,  in sustainable zero-waste packaging delivered to your home or office in Austin and Houston, making a positive impact on local food and the global environment.  Every meal from Prep To Your Door is local, organic and responsible

Prep To Your Door (PTYD) users, affectionately dubbed “Prepsters,” can order 5, 10, 15 or 20 seasonal meals per week - perfect for an individual or a family of any size.  The weekly menu that includes 2 entrees, 2 salads, a breakfast and a soup, is completely customizable, and can be modified, skipped or cancelled at any time with no commitment.  Best of all, the meals are pre-prepared and delivered in mason jars and insulated bags that are collected for extensive cleaning and future reuse.

Every Prep To Your Door meal is 100% organic, gluten-free and plant-based (animal products contribute over 80% of the greenhouse gas emissions associated with food production) and includes such delicious dishes as jackfruit jambalaya, kale power salad, borscht beet soup, chickpea chana masala, siete enchiladas,  roasted veggies with a curcuma dressing and earl grey lavender oats. Prep To Your Door also offers ready-to-blend smoothies, nut milks, cookies and specialty items from local partners.

Partners Heather Emerson and Faiez Rana met while attending Harvard University, sharing a passion for sustainability, food and education. Faiez’s drive for social entrepreneurship and Heather’s interest in sustainable business were a perfect fit to build a culinary brand that makes a positive impact.  The idea for sustainable packaging emerged when Heather began creating zero-waste lunches to get her through her fast-paced New York City life.  When the co-founders moved back to Austin, Faiez began perfecting plant-based meals with organic ingredients, sourcing primarily from Texas farms.

The fast-growing company, with a staff of 20, has delivered more than 15,000 pounds of locally-grown, organic produce and saving over a quarter million plastic containers from ending up in landfills and negatively impacting the environment. The company now serves Central Texas (Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, San Marcos, Kyle, Buda, Lakeway, Manor, Dripping Springs, Westlake, Driftwood and Bee Caves), Houston (inside the 610 loop) and will be expanding within Texas in 2021.  The cost for a week of meals begins at $75 including a delivery fee, with PTYD Points lowering delivery fees for regular Prepsters.
