Personal, comfortable air travel with rigorous COVID-19 safeguards awaits through the St. Louis crew of Jet Linx Aviation, a private jet company that’s the third-largest U.S. aircraft management operation. St. Louis is among the company's 20 base locations, with headquarters in Omaha, Neb.
A Jet Linx private terminal is located at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport, 10897 Lambert International Blvd. During June 2019, the company added a second, convenient location at Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield.
"Prior to the pandemic, 50% of our members were business travelers, but during the past year, the majority of new members traveled for personal reasons, because we are a safe, dependable and flexible alternative. We're just now starting to see business travelers return," says Tom Buffington, Jet Linx base president for St. Louis.
Tom outlines several ways to join Jet Linx services for all-encompassing, local solutions to private jet travel needs:
- A Jet Card member has guaranteed access to the company's entire fleet. Tom says it's a pay-as-you-fly model with no upfront customer investment.
- A new Joint Ownership program enables members to buy one-half (for those who fly 75 to 100 hours annually). Tom indicates this is a cost-effective option akin to enjoying 100% of whole aircraft ownership for only 50% of the cost. The company also offers management for whole private jet owners (those who fly more than 100 hours annually).
- During March, Jet Linx launched CAT (Complete Aircraft Transaction), the industry’s first and only full-service solution that provides current and prospective aircraft owners with the support of Jet Linx’s operating expertise, coupled with its industry-best aircraft brokerage partners, to oversee the purchase, management and sale of a private jet.
