O’Connor’s Pub Burger
A true pub classic done right — one half-pound of juicy Angus beef, perfectly cooked and layered with shredded lettuce, fresh tomato, crisp onion, and a generous slather of our house-made secret sauce.
Pub Burger Ingredients:
• ½ pound Angus beef patty
• Shredded lettuce
• Fresh tomato slices
• Sliced onion
• Secret Sauce (recipe below)
• Toasted pub-style bun
• Salt and pepper to taste
Secret Sauce Ingredients:
• 1 cup mayonnaise
• 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
• ½ lemon, freshly squeezed
• 1 oz minced onion
• Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Make the Secret Sauce:
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, finely chopped garlic, minced onion, and lemon juice. Stir well until smooth. Add salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate while preparing the burger for the best flavor.
2. Prepare the Patty:
Season the Angus beef patty with salt and pepper. Grill or pan-sear the patty over medium-high heat until it reaches your preferred doneness
3. Assemble the Burger:
Toast the pub-style bun lightly for a golden crunch. Spread a generous layer of secret sauce on the top bun. Stack the grilled patty on the bottom bun, then top with shredded lettuce, tomato slices, and onion. Cap it with the top bun and dig in!
