At CSRA City Lifestyle, we love that our restaurant scene is filled with local places that aren’t just somewhere to grab a meal, they’re part of our memories, traditions, and everyday lives.
Kicking off our favorites, in Evans, Fukuro Sushi Bar is the kind of place we find ourselves returning to again and again for consistently delicious sushi, a luxe atmosphere, and the simple joy of sharing a great meal together. In Augusta, New Ming Wah has earned a spot on our favorites list because it’s dependable, delicious, and one of those places we can always count on when we’re craving the food we love. Salt + Marrow in North Augusta is as much about the experience as the food, it’s a place that makes us want to linger, enjoy the meal, and come back the next time we’re looking for something special. And then there’s Luigi’s, our favorite and Augusta’s oldest restaurant, which holds a truly special place in our hearts; we keep going back not only because we love the food, but because there’s something comforting about a restaurant with so much history and character that has been part of Augusta for generations.
Fukuro Bar & Sushi
Fukuro turns sushi night into an occasion, pairing pristine sashimi, inventive rolls and Japanese-inspired cocktails in a sleek, intimate setting. Start with the truffle-miso salmon sando or a bluefin tuna tartare, then let the night unfold one beautifully plated bite at a time. They bring the same creativity to their cocktail menu, serving up beautifully crafted drinks with bold flavors and unique combinations that pair perfectly with their Japanese cuisine.
Luigi's
Walking into Luigi’s feels like stepping into old Augusta in the best possible way. Since 1949, this family institution has been serving Greek chicken, baked lasagna and Augusta’s original pizza pie with the kind of old-world charm you simply can’t recreate. During Masters week, Luigi's becomes a celebrity hot spot, welcoming some of the most recognizable names in sports, entertainment, and beyond for a taste of one of Augusta’s longtime favorites.
New Ming Wah Restaurant
At New Ming Wah, the move is simple: crispy marinated wings, a house egg roll and a heaping side of fried rice. Serving Augusta since 1989, it’s the kind of Chinese comfort food that turns “What should we get tonight?” into an easy answer. One of New Ming Wah’s favorite dishes is their House Special Lo Mein, a flavorful, hearty combination that showcases the restaurant’s classic Chinese-American cooking and keeps locals coming back for more.
Salt + Marrow Kitchen
At Salt + Marrow, dinner meets the flame, with dry-aged steaks, wood-fired lobster and Southern-inspired plates picking up smoky depth from the restaurant’s artisanal grill. Add a polished Riverside Village setting and a cocktail, and an ordinary night out suddenly feels worth dressing up for. You won't regret finishing up your meal with their sweet potato soufflé or lemon-basil cake.
