The Story Behind IGDNC As a local family dental practice, IGDNC is committed to providing excellent care for their patients. In 1985, Dr. Ted Mioduski, Jr. began practicing dentistry in Loveland. He was one of the first dentists in Colorado to be a diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Dr. Nicole Ferrara, who graduated from Thompson Valley High School, worked at IGDNC as a dental assistant before going on to dental school herself. Dr. Nicole rejoined the practice in 2001. Dr. Theo Mioduski III, is Dr. Ted’s son and a graduate of Loveland High School.
While growing up around his Dad’s practice, Theo’s interest to follow the same path was cultivated. Dr. Theo joined the practice in 2008. All three doctors attended the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Dr. Ted completed his General Practice Residency (GPR) at St. Joseph Hospital in Denver. Drs. Nicole and Theo completed their GPR at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Medical Center. A small percentage of dental students complete an advanced GPR. While not a requirement for dental students, IGDNC has made it a requirement for their Dentists, in keeping consistent with efforts to provide the very best. Ted, Nicole, Theo and their staff actively prepare to provide the highest level of dental care and personalized customer service. IGDNC’s customer service philosophy is built on Ritz Carlton principles. Years ago they invited Ritz Carlton consultants to their office for staff training. They adopted the Ritz Carlton customer service practices and continue to use them every single day in treating their patients. From the beginning, Dr. Ted was determined that "We would be different in all the right ways. The family of IGDNC encompasses the doctors, staff and patients. Many patients have come to IGDNC for their dental care since its inception. As their families grew, so did IGDNC. They live by the strong belief that "great people know great people…our patients continually refer their friends and family to our practice.” Although IGDNC is a local practice, their Doctors see many patients from surrounding states and patients living overseas who choose to come to IGDNC for their dental care. What services do you offer? A diverse array of procedures is provided at IGDNC. Along with general dental procedures, both Dr. Ted and Dr. Theo place and restore dental implants. Intravenous (IV) and oral sedation are available for patients undergoing surgical procedures or patients who are prone to dental anxiety. Patients typically elect for sedation during most surgical procedures, however, many patients elect for sedation during general dentistry procedures and hygiene appointments. IV sedation is an option that few general dentistry practices in Colorado are trained to offer. Dr. Nicole is one of the most highly qualified dentists in Colorado who offers treatment for Sleep Apnea, craniofacial pain and TMJ disorders. She is very passionate about providing this unique treatment. She is a three-time diplomate in her areas of expertise and beyond that, she is a very highly skilled general dentist with years of experience. Dr. Nicole also offers oral sedation. What would you like first-time patients to know about the care you provide? “Each time a patient encounters our staff, whether it be our business team, assistants, hygienists or doctors, they can expect the highest level of customer service and dental care.
