Madoca began studying piano and organ at the age of seven, continuing through her teenage years before earning a degree in Composition and Piano from Senzoku Music University in Kawasaki, Japan. “In my early musical history, I was drawn to the organ long before I started playing the piano,” says Madoca. “I remember playing every year in the junior organ competitions when I was a teenager.”
Influenced by musical greats such as Herbie Hancock, Eddie Palmieri, and Chick Corea, Madoca has a rich and constantly evolving musical history. “I was introduced to jazz music when I was 17 years old,” says Madoca. “Since then, my soul has been saturated with jazz.” She has brought her music around the world, performing at venues in the United Kingdom, Australia, France and all across Asia. Whether performing as a solo pianist to headlining a six-person jazz ensemble, Madoca is giving the gift of smooth jazz and easy listening to everyone.
