Do you need help losing weight? Faster, surer results than healthy diet and exercise can achieve on their own await at Regner Health Solutions!
Since its foundation in 2022, Regner Health Solutions has helped over 400 people shed pounds and feel healthier through the power of protein-based therapies. The Bloomington weight loss clinic currently specializes in semaglutide, tirzepatide, and retatrutide weight loss treatments, as well as anti-aging peptides including Wolverine and NAD+. Here’s why!
Semaglutide
With nearly 26 million scripts, semaglutide (the generic name for the active ingredient in Ozempic and Wegovy) was the 19th most prescribed drug in the U.S. in 2023. After insulin, it is now the second most widely prescribed peptide in the world.
Why? It’s not just semaglutide’s demonstrable effect on weight loss, with one recent study showing that participants shed an average of 33.7 pounds after receiving 68 weekly doses (N Engl J Med 2021;384:989-1002). Cardiometabolic risk factors and physical functioning have both also been shown to improve with semaglutide, and it may reduce the risks of heart disease and certain types of cancer as well.
Tirzepatide
Tirzepatide (the generic name for the active ingredient in Mounjaro and Zepbound) was the 110th most prescribed pharmaceutical in the U.S. in 2023, with approximately 6.3 million scripts.
In a recent landmark study, participants with a BMI of 30 or higher were shown to have lost an average of 20.9 percent body weight after receiving 72 weekly doses of tirzepatide (N Engl J Med 2022;387:205-216). Even more promisingly, tirzepatide was shown to improve cardiometabolic risk factors including waist circumference, blood pressure, and fasting insulin level.
Retatrutide
Researchers have hailed retatrutide (which is presently being developed by Zepbound creator Eli Lily) as “a game changer in obesity pharmacology” (Biomolecules 2025;15(6):796). Multiple studies have demonstrated retatrutide’s ability to delay gastric emptying, reduce food intake, and promote weight loss more effectively than any other gut hormone therapy.
One particular recent study shows retatrutide’s incredible promise. Upon receiving just 48 weekly doses of the drug, 83 percent of participants showed at least 15 percent weight reduction; 93 percent showed at least 10 percent; and 100 percent showed at least 5 percent (N Engl J Med 2023;389:514-526).
Wolverine
Wolverine is a comic book character who, among other powers, has the ability to heal from any injury. He is why BPC-157 is known as the “Wolverine peptide.” It is currently the subject of intense study for its supposed abilities to reduce inflammation, stimulate blood vessel growth, and accelerate the repair of soft tissues.
In addition to sermorelin, Wolverine is becoming increasingly popular among women pursuing anti-aging therapies. However, its apparent ability to heal soft tissues at the localized level makes it helpful to people from all walks of life. Athletes recovering from injuries. Professionals, whose years on the job haven’t been kind to their joints. Baby boomers, for reasons they are all too well aware of. Unlike the real-life animal (which is a large and famously bitey type of weasel), Wolverine can help them all!
NAD+
Aging is a malleable process; subject to deceleration, if not outright reversal. This is the core tenet of cellular regenerative medicine, which has produced a wealth of evidence suggesting that aging goes hand in hand with declining levels of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+).
NAD+ is paramount to cellular metabolism, as well as the production of enzymes that influence aging at the genetic level. Low energy. Mental fog. Dry skin. Poor sleep. Mood swings. These and several other symptoms have all been shown to coincide with NAD+ deficiency. Naturally, NAD+ sufficiency can be an altogether opposite feeling, and may just help you stick around to annoy your grandchildren long into their adulthoods.
Get Started Today
“Getting started is easy!” said Ben Regner, who cofounded Regner Health Solutions alongside his father David. “Just visit our clinic for your initial consultation. You’ll fill out some basic paperwork. We’ll measure your weight, height and blood pressure. There will be no blood work. Once you have video chatted with our Minnesota-licensed doctor Michael Zbiegien, MD – and we have confirmed everything is good to go with your own primary care physician – you can begin treatment that very same day: a single injection.
“You’ll continue visiting our clinic weekly for the first four or five weeks. We want to make sure you’re proceeding healthily, and fine-tune your dosage if need be. Once we’ve determined your ideal treatment plan, you’re all set to begin self-dosing at home. You’ll only have to visit our clinic monthly for a quick checkup and to receive your new supply. It’s all month by month. No long-term commitment!
“We strive to make medical weight loss affordable to everyone. That’s why we don’t prescribe name brand drugs, which can easily cost $1,700 a month. Our generic alternatives have the exact same effects. They just cost as little as $299 a month instead.
“Our patients aren’t just happier with their appearance. They receive all the other benefits of weight loss as well. Improved sleep. Reduced blood pressure. Lower likelihood of diabetes, and lower incidence of joint issues, too. It really is amazing what a single weekly injection can do!”
