Reindeer Treats

These yummy Christmas treats are inspired by Santa's reindeer!

There’s nothing I love more than baking Christmas treats in December! These two reindeer inspired treats are yummy, easy to make, and perfect to gift to friends or take to Christmas parties! The best part is that it's kid friendly and they will have so much fun making them!

Reindeer Chow

Ingredients

6-7 Cups Chex Cereal

1 Cup Chocolate Chips

1 Cup Creamy Peanut Butter

1-2 Cups Powdered Sugar

Red and Green Chocolate Candies

Mini Peanut Butter Cups

1 In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter stirring every 30 seconds until fully melted and well combined.

2 Pour the Chex Cereal and chocolate peanut butter mixture in a large bowl. Gently fold together until all the cereal is well coated and add more cereal if needed.

3 Pour 1 Cup of powdered sugar into a large bag and add the cereal mixture. Seal and shake well, adding more powdered sugar as needed (this is a fun and mess-free step that little kids can do!).

4 Place the bag in the fridge for 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set. When ready to serve, transfer the mixture to another container and add the chocolate candies and peanut butter cups.

Caramel Reindeer

Ingredients

Mini Pretzels

Rolos

Candy Eyes

Red and Brown Chocolate Candies

1 To create the reindeer antlers, take some pretzels and break them in half (some will break incorrectly, these are great to snack on while working!). Once you have all the antlers you will need, preheat the oven to 250 degrees.

2 Take a pan lined with parchment paper and place down whole pretzels and put a Rolo in the middle of each pretzel. Bake in the oven for about 2 minutes, the goal is for the chocolate to become soft, not melted.

3 Remove from the oven and quickly push in the pretzel antlers to the Rolo and then place the chocolate candy for the nose and then the eyes.
