More than just a fundraiser, Relay For Life is is a community united by hope, compassion and action. Nearly everyone has been touched by cancer in some way, whether through a family member, friend, coworker or personal journey. Relay provides the opportunity to stand together and say that no one faces cancer alone.
Every lap walked, every dollar raised and every team formed helps the American Cancer Society continue its lifesaving mission. Funds raised through Relay For Life support groundbreaking cancer research, provide free transportation and lodging for patients traveling to treatment, offer 24/7 support through the American Cancer Society's helpline, and deliver resources that help people navigate every step of their cancer journey.
Relay is also a celebration of survivors and a tribute to those we have lost. The Survivor Lap honors the incredible strength and resilience of those who have faced cancer. The moving Luminaria Ceremony remembers loved ones while inspiring hope for a future where cancer is no longer a life-threatening disease.
What makes Relay truly special is that everyone has a place. Whether you're walking with a team, volunteering, sponsoring the event, participating in the 5K, enjoying the car show, visiting vendors or simply cheering others on, your presence makes a difference. Every participant becomes part of a nationwide movement that has raised billions of dollars to help save lives.
