BITE SIZE REVIEWS

1. The Hungry Onion Drive-In

Trying all 50 flavors of their fountain soda is on my bucket list. Will get right on that after I finish my Toasted Coconut Dipped Cone.

2. Ling & Louie’s Asian Bar & Grill

Apparently the Mongolian Beef, Seafood Hot Pot, and platters of Pad Thai are fantastic, but I keep ordering the sushi because…perfection.

3. Gino’s Italian Ristorante

Oh, you haven’t had their Italian Beef Slider with a side of Rosemary Truffle Fries? And you call yourself a local?

4. Epi’s Basque Restaurant

Unique, authentic, delicious.  What puny little adjectives to describe this legendary Basque gem.  Like being in a cozy home with a beloved aunt who keeps bringing you food.

5. Thinking Tacos?

This street taco joint oozes creativity, authenticity, and cheese.  Hangover cure and craving-buster all in one juicy arm-dripping bite.

6. Sid’s Garage

Local Brews. Wagyu Beef Burgers. Pork Belly Tots. Maple Bourbon Cobbler Shakes.  Bangin’ music.   What?  I said BANGIN’ MUSIC.

7. Crave Kitchen and Bar

My new favorite surf ‘n turf:  Filet Mignon with Lobster Mashed Potatoes, and a restaurant with a wine list that will have a bottle to pair them both.

8. Twigs Bistro & Martini Bar

Fig & Prosciutto Flatbread with a French 75, or a Key Lime Martini with Kalua Pork Tacos?    Best. Happy. Hour. Questions. Ever.

9. Kahootz Steak & Ale House

Know what Over the Fire and Under the Cork means?   It’s how your rib-eye is cooked, and whether you go for a Cab or a Zin.

10. Moe Joe’s Breakfast Eatery

Trying to decide between Huevoes Rancheros, Salted Caramel Banana Bread French Toast, or the Alaskan Benedict just depends on whether it’s breakfast or lunchtime.
