Born and raised in the quiet town of Deaver, Wyoming, Corey Cozzens has always followed his passions with purpose.  After attending Northwest College, he moved across the country to study classic French cuisine at a culinary school in Dover, New Hampshire.  His culinary journey led him to world-class kitchens, including Pebble Beach in California and Amangani in Jackson, Wyoming, where he refined his skills in hospitality and high-end cuisine.

In 2009, Corey brought his talents to Logan, Utah, helping open the Beehive Grill.  It was there he met Kimberly, his future wife, and the two married in 2011.  Corey later joined Utah State University's culinary department, managing the Skyroom Restaurant and mentoring students in food service and hospitality.

By 2018, Corey and Kimberly were ready for a lifestyle shift.  With their three sons, they relocated to Ogden Valley, where Corey transitioned into a career in landscape architecture. Partnering with Kevin Linsley at Valley Build Design, Corey brought his creative eye and attention to detail to outdoor living spaces, applying his design sensibilities in new and inspiring ways. From custom patios to fire pits and stunning backyard pools, Corey found joy in creating environments where families could relax, connect, and cool off together.

In 2024, Corey launched Dip Pools, a new venture that combines innovative design with a lifelong commitment to creating spaces that bring people together - this time with a splash. Focused on high-quality, thoughtfully designed pools and outdoor living areas, Dip Pools reflect Corey's beliefs that the best memories are often made outside, near water, and with good company.

Kevin Linsley, Corey's business partner and friend, shares the same drive for meaningful work and community connection.  A devoted husband, a proud father, and a natural entrepreneur, Kevin is known for his integrity, creativity, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors.

With a strong belief in hands-on leadership, Kevin excels at bringing a vision to life.  At Valley Design Build and Dip Pools, he combines craftsmanship and purpose, helping to shape environments that reflect the values of beauty, function, and sustainability, including stunning pools that become the centerpiece of backyard living.

Nature has always been a source of peace and inspiration for Kevin.  Whether hiking, camping, or simply spending time outside with his family, the outdoors grounds him and informs both his work and worldview. He sees parallels between nature and design, each requiring patience, balance, and thoughtful care.

Kevin also believes deeply in the power of community.  He's a consistent presence in local efforts, whether mentoring others, volunteering, or supporting causes that matter to those around him.  For Kevin, success is not just measured by business accomplishments, but by the relationships he builds and the legacy he leaves behind.

Katrina Hammond states, "I had the pleasure of working with Kevin and Corey on my backyard and pool, where they completed a lot of rock work. They came in to fix and address issues, and I was impressed by their thoroughness, precision, and visionary approach to the project.  The team they brought with them was respectful, hard-working, and conscientious, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. One of the best qualities Kevin and Corey possess is their responsiveness- they were quick to respond to any concerns or questions I had, ensuring everything went according to plan."

Together, Corey and Kevin represent a blend of vision, craftsmanship, and heart, dedicated to their families, their work, and the Ogden community they now call home. Whether designing the perfect pool, addressing issues with precision, or reimagining a backyard from scratch, they continue to dive headfirst into projects that bring joy, beauty, and connection to everyday life.
