Roswell is committed to honor its rich traditions while embracing bold innovations and forward thinking initiatives was the theme of the January 17th event... It's an exciting time in history for the City of Roswell! This year's state of the City's address and presentation held at the Roswell Cultural Arts Center was packed full in attendance with over 300 from the City's employees, Mayor Kurt Wilson and Council and many business leaders from across Roswell.

An invocation, followed by Tiffany Hunt, a devoted City staff member performing a moving rendition of the National Anthem lead to much applause. A special tribute to Roswell's esteemed Veterans in attendance was also held. City Administrator, Randy Knighton congratulated Patti Weathersbee as Roswell's Employee of the year! Much was shared on how Patti has gone above and beyond the call of duty in her 9 years of service.

A dynamic video highlighted milestones in economic development, transportation, public safety, parks and recreations, public works and more. Mayor Wilson delivering the keynote speech gave credit to City Council and executive leadership as being instrumental in the City's productivity over the last 3 years. "As your mayor, I believe our role in leadership is not just to maintain the status quo but to dream big and take bold actions to shape Roswell for future generations. Together we have the opportunity and responsibility to build our community that embodies the highest standards of safety, quality of life and innovation".
