The Roswell Brew Talks podcast, a collaboration between Visit Roswell, Roswell Inc. with production support from the Mike Thomas Group and Tran Bui Productions, has earned the Al Burruss Award for Creative Expression at the Georgia Association of Convention & Visitors Bureau’s Georgia Tourism Awards.
Through authentic stories and interviews, the podcast, which has generated more than 100,000 views highlights the city’s businesses, organizations, and residents in a way that resonates with both visitors and locals. “We’ve been able to demonstrate that we bridge tourism and economic development,” said Andy Williams, President and CEO of Visit Roswell. “Those two things should work hand-in-hand.”
“Everyone has a unique story to tell, and Roswell Brew Talks gives them the platform to share it on a more personal level,” Williams continued. “We’re able to explore topics conversationally in ways that businesses can’t through advertisements or social media posts. There’s a fantastic human element to it—at the core, we’re just a group of people having a conversation.”
