With an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, 30 years of corporate business experience, and a childhood of caring for pets from dogs to horses, Joseph Pizzurro found a new venture in Scenthound.
“For years, Kathryn and I spoke about starting a business together. We found Scenthound, and were drawn to its mission, and purpose, which we could not wait to bring to north-central Florida,” says Pizzurro.
The couple shares a strong love of Gainesville and its surrounding neighborhoods. The vibrant, active community is filled with families, retirees, and career-minded singles that share a common thread – they love their furry friends.
“Certainly, the past few years have shown us how our pets bring us much-needed love and happiness. Educating pet parents and helping them with routine, proactive care for their furry family members helps all of us stay healthy and happy as well.”
Scenthound provides wellness-focused dog grooming services in their Haile location and will soon be opening a second in Millhopper. Ocala locations are planned for 2023.
