“It was a Schooner Days for the record books,” said Terry Eggan, Lion. “We welcomed around 17,500 fairgoers over the course of three days: the most in our 64 years of doing this.
“With so many guests, literally everything we offered was a big hit. The food trucks were all practically cleaned out each night. Our vendor marketplace, which really picked up steam in its third year, was hopping. Our beer garden and bingo tent both doubled their numbers over last year. We poured over 6,000 pints!
“We’re still in the process of sorting out how much money we raised; well over $50,000, for sure. It’s a huge win for the visually impaired, who are the beneficiaries of the Lions’ many partnered nonprofits.” EPLions.com
