Murfreesboro-based Realtor Isam Aziz is so committed to stewarding helpful client support and communications, he makes himself available from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily — yes, that's accessibility within every 24-hour period.
"My goal is to make the home buying and selling process easier for everyone. I enjoy learning the stories of why people are moving, from the family who just added their third baby to empty nesters looking to downsize their home. These are life-changing events, and can be one of the most stressful times in people's lives. My goal is to make these steps as seamless and straightforward as possible," Isam explains.
"I love my work and my family, and have been blessed with an amazing life. I work more than I should, but I love what I do, so it never feels like working."
He says many clients presently collaborating with his team and simpliHOM brokerage representatives are seeking privacy, in that properties that adjoin coveted green space, common areas, parks, fields or woods are the most attractive and desired.
Two other key factors sought by current homebuyers are affordability and amenities. Isam says many people are enthused about the addition of the future $16.5 million, 153-acre multipurpose space for Veterans Park in the Blackman community, for example. He adds, "And we got a Trader Joe's this year. So, with the growth in our local community, more companies are moving here or establishing a presence, and that brings more people relocating from other states."
He says he recently has worked with people who relocated from Illinois, Florida, Atlanta as well as other Tennessee cities. He understands that type of transition from a firsthand basis. After graduating from East Tennessee State University, Isam says he moved to the Nashville region in 2008. When he started handling real estate, he says it was a part-time endeavor while he worked his IT job. "Then I started to see how much I loved every part of real estate, especially meeting new people. The job is more fulfilling than any other job I've had, and to me, that's the ultimate career."
Notably, Isam/The Aziz Team, became a finalist and second-place overall designee for the 2025 Rutherford County Main Street Awards in the services category from among more than 2,600 agents. All finalists were nominated by Murfreesboro Post newspaper readers and selected by their votes.
In the latter part of 2025, real estate sources predict that Central Tennessee's housing market is expected to continue its trend of moderate growth, with a slight increase in home sales and inventory, and steady price appreciation. According to Realtor.com, based on data through April 2025, the median listing home price in Murfreesboro was $479,900, trending up 3% year-over-year. The median listing home price per square foot was $221. The median home sold price was $440,200.
"July traditionally is a busy month for homeowners, especially those who are moving into new homes before school starts," Isam states.
He says he's seen statistics that indicate the average American moves about 11.7 times in their lifetime. "Life's big moments lead us to new homes or locations, such as chasing career opportunities, finding perfect places for growing or shrinking families, exploring new neighborhoods, securing educational pursuits or for love and family."
"When I can help a family move to the next chapter of their life, it truly gives me a sense of joy and accomplishment," assures Isam.
