Celebrating a decade in fashion, designer Sergio Hudson presented a confident and sophisticated Fall/Winter 2026 collection during New York Fashion Week, marking an important milestone for the American designer known for his sharp tailoring and glamorous eveningwear.
Staged at the iconic New York Public Library, Hudson’s runway show reflected both a celebration of his career and a continuation of the aesthetic that has defined his brand for the past ten years.
The collection drew inspiration from several personal and cultural references, including Hudson’s mother and a number of memorable fictional characters—from the powerful Dominique Deveraux of Dynasty to Glenn Close’s theatrical portrayal of Cruella De Vil. These influences appeared throughout the runway in the form of dramatic silhouettes, confident tailoring, and richly colored designs.
Hudson’s signature power dressing was on full display. Structured suits with strong shoulders and defined waists reinforced the designer’s reputation for creating clothes that project confidence and authority. At the same time, the collection embraced vibrant color and luxurious textures, with jewel-toned gowns and sculptural eveningwear adding a sense of glamour to the presentation.
Though womenswear remains the foundation of Hudson’s brand, the designer also introduced a small number of menswear looks on the runway this season, demonstrating his ability to translate his signature tailoring into a masculine context.
Ten years into his career, Hudson continues to refine a distinct point of view—one that celebrates elegance, strength, and bold individuality.
