Setty Plastics & Aesthetics

Personalized care for every patient

The Setty Plastics & Aesthetics' new McKinney facility incorporates state-of-the-art aesthetic technologies and experienced providers to deliver patients the best experience and results. The new facility boasts approximately 10,000 square feet of space. Medical spa treatment rooms,  individual examination rooms, consultation rooms, pre, and post-operative rooms, overnight stay rooms, and two operating rooms - make it the largest private plastic surgery operating facility in the area. Dr. Setty states that "this will allow us to provide our standard of care from the first consultation all the way through the surgical procedure in the operating room."

I had the opportunity to speak with Heather Jordan, who is a partner in the business, to learn more about the practice. Heather and Dr. Setty merged companies two and a half years ago after a seven-year working relationship. Heather was the owner of a MedSpa practice that specialized in offering a variety of aesthetic services. Dr. Setty was the consulting physician for her company. Introduced by a mutual friend, Heather and Dr. Setty discovered they shared the same philosophy in what drives their business decisions. They were both passionate about simply doing the right things for their patients every day. Focused on providing their patients with the best solutions, they won't offer treatments unless it's the safest and best solution to meet the patient's needs and wants.

At the beginning of her career in the aesthetics field, Heather trained with the Texas Laser Institute and is certified in most of the treatments provided in the medical spas. Her passion is to create aesthetic services for the best value delivered with top-notch, experienced staff using the best products and technologies available. Heather doesn't use any product or offer any service she hasn't tried herself to ensure that she's providing only the best to her patients.

Currently, the most popular services Setty Plastics and Aesthetics offers are CoolSculpting, Morpheus8, and BodyTite. CoolSculpting is a procedure that uses cryolipolysis to freeze and destroy fat cells so that they are permanently removed from your body. It's a popular, non-invasive way to create a sculpted, slimmer silhouette. Morpheus8 is a minimally invasive procedure that uses radiofrequency assisted lipolysis to tighten skin anywhere on the body.  On the surgical side, BodyTite offers liposuction along with dramatic skin tightening with little to no downtime.

When asked what she most enjoys about her work, Heather said it's the transformation in confidence that her patients receive from her services. She shared with me the story of a girl battling terrible facial hair. The girl entered her office timidly, terribly self-conscious, and lacking the most basic confidence. Fast forward a year later, Heather noticed the same patient waiting for an appointment in the lobby of the Dallas medical spa.  It was clear the patient had experienced a complete transformation. She was sitting with her shoulders back, clearly confident with her new look, and seemed to be so much happier in general. This was only one of many success stories that make this work so fulfilling for Heather.

This same transformation can be seen in a more dramatic way for surgical patients of Dr. Setty. Dr. Setty is exceptionally well trained in both reconstructive and cosmetic surgery with further specialization in surgery of the hand. With a focus on body and breast procedures, Dr. Setty is a leading plastic surgeon in the DFW area and has been the first to introduce several pieces of technology to the DFW aesthetics market.

At the young age of 17, Dr. Setty was in a severe car accident that left him with burns to his arms and face. He had skin graft surgery to his arms and hands and was in a burn center for almost three weeks. That experience was the beginning of Dr. Setty's interest in medicine and specifically surgery. Dr. Setty went on to obtain his undergraduate degree at Columbia University in New York, NY, where he graduated with honors and distinction. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, and completed his residency training in plastic surgery at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. For further specialization, Dr. Setty then held two one-year fellowships in hand surgery and plastic surgery.

When not working, you can find Heather spending time with her two children, ages 13 and 7. And during his spare time, Dr. Setty enjoys spending time with his wife and sons in outdoor activities, sports or on the road traveling.

During these uncertain times, overshadowed by the Covid19 pandemic, Setty Plastics & Aesthetics is offering potential patients virtual consultations until the office can resume regular business hours. Visit their website at www.settyplastics.com, or call 972-930-0333 to learn more.
