Dr. Setty obtained his undergraduate degree at Columbia University in New York, NY, where he graduated with honors and distinction. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH, and completed his residency training in plastic surgery at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. For further specialization, Dr. Setty then held two one-year fellowships in hand surgery and plastic surgery at the prestigious Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery at the New York University Medical Center in New York, NY.
