The amount of time and resources that go into curating an extravagant or run-of-the-mill event are typically allocated to the venue, food, and flowers, leaving any budget for craft cocktails high and dry.

Of course, if we were speaking about high and dry in reference to a cocktail, we’d be headed in the right direction.

For Sean Brokaw and Emilie Adamovic, founders of Boulder’s Choice Cocktails, it's all about channeling their love for classic, elegant cocktails with a modern twist. With over 25 years of craft cocktail experience between them, they’ve concocted the perfect solution to put a personal touch on your next event.

Brokaw’s cocktail journey originated in Jackson Hole, Wyoming; When he moved to Colorado to work at Denver’s Green Russel in 2011, he was thrown into the trenches of high-end craft cocktail bartending. It was here that his bartending experience would get a serious upgrade.

Once he had refined his skills, Brokaw headed back home to Jackson Hole to return to the bar he’d once been a manager at, and shared, “we’ve been doing this all wrong” to his coworkers. Immediately, he put his learned expertise to work and created a cocktail program.

After meeting at Boulder’s well-loved sushi spot, Japango, Adamovic and Brokaw made a serious connection over the art of cocktails; they have been working together ever since.

Brokaw and Adamovic's shared passion for craft cocktails extends well beyond the glass and shines in how they tend to the details of hospitality and high-quality experiences. They provide a pre-event consultation for every client to get to know their taste and preferences while making the process fun and valuable for those involved.

Every cocktail contains fresh ingredients, house-made syrups, fresh-pressed juices, local produce, and is crafted with the clientele in mind. Bringing the best ingredients to the table while perfecting elegant aesthetics are just a few of the details that go into this well thought out process.

With their own handmade wooden bar, they curate a space that is stylistically rustic chic with a whole lot of fun surrounding this mighty little bar. They also realize how special mocktails are for those that don’t imbibe. Nothing is an afterthought with Choice Cocktails so you better believe you’re receiving far beyond soda water when you ask for a non-alcoholic beverage.

Sometimes the bride and groom desire a cocktail inspired by their personas, other times it’s creating cocktails that speak to a more business-casual audience or shaking up a tasty treat for the more adventurous souls.

Brokaw and Adamovic are inspired to make the wonderful world of craft cocktails approachable, exceptional, and mobile.
