Shape Up at Athletic Society

New year. New gym. New experience. The kickoff to 2020 marks the perfect time to take advantage of Athletic Society’s $0 Enrollment Special for Conejo Valley Lifestyle readers. Through the end of January, sign up as a new member and Athletic Society will waive the usual enrollment fee.

“We cater to not only the health-conscious, but to those who may be at the beginning of their fitness journey,” says Athletic Society Manager Tyler Larsen. “Whether you are into classes, lifting or swimming, we provide an elite fitness experience which will help you to reach your goals and maintain your lifestyle.”

Having recently celebrated their two-year anniversary of joining the community, Athletic Society welcomes people wherever they are on their fitness journey. With more than 100 classes each week, including Pilates, yoga, Latin jazz, HIIT training, cardio dance, spinning, Zumba, kickboxing, aquatics and barre, Athletic Society offers something for everyone.

In addition to group fitness classes, members have easy access to personal training, aquatics, wellness and robust training programs, a BootyBuilder, pool and basketball court, plus a rejuvenation center, onsite café and state-of-the-art equipment.

“We are proud to be a part of the rich history at 2400 Willow Lane, which has been a robust health club for 20+ years. Our team has worked to create a fresh new fitness experience to cater to a variety of needs,” says Chyla Anderson, Director of Marketing, noting the many renovations and updates throughout the facility.

Since opening its doors in 2017, Athletic Society has renovated the pool and basketball court; built new specialty studios for cycling, yoga, group fitness and Pilates; added new equipment that incorporates cutting-edge fitness technologies; created a Rejuvenation Center and updated the look and feel of the entire club. The Urban Society Café promotes healthful eating throughout the day and offers meal prep programs for customized nutritional needs, and the Rejuvenation Center provides a variety of healing services, including unlimited tanning and HydroMassage access and NormaTec Recovery System equipment that help members recover from a tough workout through the use of compression sleeves to aid in elimination of lactic acid.

The vibrant health club with its many amenities provides a motivating, supportive environment for members to pursue their fitness goals. And each month, Athletic Society shows gratitude for the community with a Membership Appreciation Day.

“We invite community members to gather and get involved,” says Anderson. Monthly Membership Appreciation Days include giveaways, onsite vendors like Lululemon, special food offerings and more to celebrate the club’s 2,500-plus members.

With locations in Westlake Village and West Valley, Athletic Society invites fitness newbies and gurus alike to discover how fun getting in shape can be.
