Owner, Supriya Kapur’s interest in jewelry was sparked while attending college in India when she began selling sterling silver jewelry to her college classmates. After moving to the US, she attended the Gemological Institute of America in New York and was later offered a position to teach there, instructing classes in diamond grading and colored stone identification.
She left work for a few years to raise her family and launched her jewelry business in 2016 under the name Rock Road Jewelry; transitioning to Suka Jewelry earlier this year. “We offer beautiful pieces at a variety of different price points,” says Supriya.
The pieces shown here are sparkly and festive and can easily transition between day and evening. Suka Jewelry makes a point of giving back to the community and has donated over $2,000 in support of local homeless shelters and food banks. Some of Supriya’s favorite charities are Oasis, CUMAC, Community Meals, and the Gurudwara Sikh Temple in Glen Rock.
