Lavender Lemonade
Ingredients:
For the Lavender Simple Syrup:
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons dried food grade lavender buds
For the Lemonade:
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 5–6 lemons)
- 4 cups cold water
- Ice cubes
- Lemon slices, fresh lavender sprigs or edible flowers for optional garnish
Instructions:
Lavender Simple Syrup
- In a small saucepan, combine water, sugar, and dried lavender buds.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves completely.

Bring to a gentle simmer, then remove from heat and let it steep for 20–30 minutes.
- Strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove the lavender buds. Allow the syrup to cool completely.
Prepare the Lemonade
- In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice, 4 cups of cold water, and 1/2 to 3/4 cup of the lavender simple syrup (adjust to taste for desired sweetness).
- Stir well to combine.
Serve
- Fill glasses with ice and pour in the lavender lemonade.
