The Art of Aging Well

Natural enhancements. Timeless confidence.

There is a special kind of science that goes behind looking good and aging gracefully. Yes, diet, exercise, skin care and vitamins play an important role, but what about beyond that?

Allison Ehrlich is the sole owner of AE Aesthetics NW, a business that started in 2022 and is located in downtown Sherwood. Ehrlich was a Physician Assistant for 14 years before moving into the aesthetic industry. Primary and urgent care set her up for success, falling in love with the procedural side of aesthetics and beauty.

After being in the industry for four years, Ehrlich learned that injections and other sides of aesthetics aren’t for everybody. She starts slow, with an hour consultation to learn about her patients goals. She creates a strong foundation, educating people on how to get their end goals and the steps that are required. “Comparison is the thief of joy,” said Ehrlich. Realistic and undetectable results is her end goal, focusing on natural procedures that enhance the beauty patients already possess.

“I help people restore the volume that they’ve lost over time and help refresh their balance,” said Ehrlich. The first connection we have with people is through our eyes, smile and face, which is the focus of AE Aesthetics NW. “Aging well means looking your best at that stage.”

The key to looking natural in your aesthetic journey is to start small. Ehrlich prefers to start conservatively, with a consultation as the first step, then slowly moving into botox. You can always add more when it comes to injections, but you can never take away when too much is applied. One treatment will not get you to your goal as aesthetics don’t happen over night. “It’s important to trust the process,” said Ehrlich.

Ehrlich has created personal connections with the people she helps. The most important part of her business is creating relationships with her patients and building trust. “It’s not about me, it’s about them,” said Ehrlich. Reaching people to help them feel more confident is a passion of hers, making her ambivert and medical side synonymous.

All of the treatments that Ehrlich offers, she uses herself. Being open and honest about her own treatments creates another layer of trust between her and her patients. Ehrlich uses botox, filler, microneedling, and sculptra, a bio stimulator that triggers the body’s naturally produced collagen.

Ehrlich’s social media account lists all of her pricing, results, and products that are offered. At the moment, AE Aesthetics NW offers wrinkle relaxers, dermal fillers, biostimulators, microneedling with Platelet Derived Growth Factors, GLP-1s, skin care and soon, hormonal replacement therapy. “Not everyone is ready for injectables,” said Ehrlich. “So we start with skin care, sleep, exercise and a consultation.”

A new treatment that AE Aesthetics NW offers is a full facial balancing with filler in combination with biostimulators. “We’re investing in the long run,” said Ehrlich, and that starts with a simple conversation.
