The Curve Behind a Perfect Smile

The Pitts 21 (P21) bracket is a Passive Self ligating (PSL) orthodontic bracket.

PSL means there is a Sliding Door on the brace that closes over the archwire and

has significantly less friction than traditional braces and allows teeth to move

more efficiently. It is the most advanced PSL bracket out today!

One of the hallmarks of the Pitts system is the width (expansion) that can be created.

Also, a focus with the Pitts system is creating a smile that shows more teeth, teeth

that “fit between the lips with the curve of the smile following the lower lip line”—known

as SmileArc. Esthetics matter as much as straight teeth, and SmileArc is the focus to

improve lip position and fullness, and teeth that fill the entire space in your smile—a

broader smile leaving no dark corners, only beautiful teeth.

See for yourself which smile is more esthetic and pleasing

To create or restore Smile Arc, the braces on the front teeth are placed a bit more

toward the gum tissue to place your teeth naturally between the lips

Do you have a flat smile line? Can you see all your teeth when you smile?
