Snap One has expanded its popular WattBox lineup with the launch of the new WattBox 820

Series, a set of high-power IP-controllable power distribution units (PDUs) designed specifically

for 20-amp systems. Built for today’s demanding home theaters and commercial projects, the

820 Series offers integrators more power, flexibility, and control.

Key Features of the WattBox 820 Series:

 Designed for High-Power Systems: Ideal for advanced home theaters and commercial

setups where 20-amp power is standard.

 Remote Management with OvrC: Monitor, reboot, and troubleshoot devices remotely,

reducing service calls and downtime.

 Outlet-Level Control & Metering: Schedule, meter, and reboot individual outlets to

maximize system efficiency.

 Built-In Surge Protection & Power Conditioning: Safeguards equipment and ensures

clean, reliable power.

 Integration-Ready: Compatible with Control4, Crestron, Elan, RTI, and URC control

systems.

 Flexible Configurations: Available in 12-outlet (WB-820-IPVM-12), 8-outlet (WB-

820CH1U-IPVM-8), and upcoming 2-outlet models.

The PDUs also support a next-gen Telnet API, allowing integrators to program custom features

and manage multiple WattBox units across large-scale deployments. For end users, the OvrC

Connect app provides real-time insights and control, enhancing the user experience.

“Our partners needed a 20-amp solution that offers the same reliability and intelligence as our

15-amp units,” says Emily Jones, Snap One’s Senior Director of Product Management. “The 820

Series delivers exactly that—powerful, smart, and flexible.”

Whether it’s for a high-end residential theater or a complex commercial install, the WattBox 820

Series gives integrators the tools they need to manage power efficiently and confidently.
