Snow Or Shine

Stay Active In Cold Weather In HRCA Backcountry Wilderness Area

Winter forecasts in Highlands Ranch could be a string of 50-degree bluebird days or a wintry blast. Luckily, HRCA Backcountry Wilderness Area offers a flexible lineup of snow-season programming open to the public to ensure you can enjoy the outdoors no matter what the weather report doles out.

The Backcountry Wilderness Area is a 13-square-mile wildlife habitat conservation property that is also home to the Backcountry Outdoor Center at 6005 Ron King Trail, which includes horse corrals, a static and 3D archery range, and Backcountry Base Camp, where 95 percent of the programs start.

Take advantage of local outdoor recreation opportunities with these four programs coming up in December for every age. Check out these options and go to hrcaonline.org/backcountry for more information and to register.
