Somebody People

A Hospitality Concept With Color

We sat down with Somebody People of Denver, Colorado to find out what happens when you bring together fresh produce, zero waste, natural wines, and...cocktails!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR CONCEPT AND WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE?

Somebody People is a bright energetic hospitality concept, that is working towards zero waste, loves organics, fresh produce and to explore the flavors of the Mediterranean through house-made pastas, breads and sauces. We adore fruit and vegetables and use cooking techniques to get the best flavors out of them.

Every week we offer a subscription-based Produce Box which highlights seasonal organic produce, recipes, dips and sauces. And the best thing is you can include natural wines and house- made cocktails.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR BRANDING AND WHAT THE INSPIRATION IS.

Drawing upon '50s Palm Springs colors, highlighted with gold and playful curves.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR OFFERINGS AND WHAT YOU'RE MOST EXCITED ABOUT.

We are extremely excited about the Colorado growing season when our Produce Box becomes increasingly local, our connection between the farmer, the restaurant and our amazing customers deepens, and we can promote what Colorado can produce.

Our in-house cocktail program is also super fun, Michael Buonocore, our beverage director, creates seasonal drinks using fresh ingredients to suit any occasion.

TELL US WHAT YOU BRING TO THE DENVER COMMUNITY AND HOW YOUR NAME RELATES.

We bring an entertaining dining experience with DJ’s on the weekend, humorous servers, bright colors and fun, 'cause that’s what it is about.

Our name “Somebody People” is from a David Bowie song ‘Five Years.’ Have a listen...

Sunday Supper

Sunday Supper is a great introduction to what we do at Somebody People. Art, our head chef, creates a different menu each week, inspired by what new dishes the kitchen is working on or using up the produce left in the market or in the fridges. There is always a featured cocktail, cheap carafe wines and funky tunes to make the night bop along.
