Soothing Syrup Recipe

Helping cure your winter blues with an alternative to over the counter cough medicine

Founded by local mom and pediatrician Dr. Julie Sweeney, SproutWell is a new pediatric integrative medicine practice in Darien. Dr. Julie takes the time to understand the unique nature of each child - blending evidence-based medicine with complementary therapies to craft individual support plans for the well-being of your little ones. But that's not all – SproutWelloffers nutrition consults with pediatric dietitian, Kristen Smaldone; yoga classes and a variety of programming to foster ahealthier and more mindful community for our kids.

At SproutWell Integrative Pediatric Medicine, they embrace a holistic approach to pediatrics that goes beyond conventional approaches to care. One of their favorite recipes is this botanical cough syrup crafted with the goodness of fresh thyme, lemon, and honey – a comforting blend inspired by the healing power of nature. Try this herbal syrup as an alternative to over-the-counter cough remedies for your child as a refreshing way to battle this cough and cold season.
