Sports Academy: Full Circle Fitness

Sports Academy is a 96,000-square-foot facility that’s all about creating full-circle athletes of all ages and skill levels.

“From the beginning Chad and Leah have had a very special vision for Sports Academy—from basketball to beach volleyball, sports medicine to sports psychology, novices to pros, Sports Academy is dedicated to helping athletes grow physically, mentally and emotionally,” says Sarah Alofs, Chief Marketing Officer, about Sports Academy Founders Chad and Leah Faulkner.

“It’s a unique facility on the West Coast,” she emphasizes. “We have curated the best experts across all areas of sports training and united them under one roof with the highest level of service, technology and amenities to support.”

Sports Academy offers incredible opportunities for athletes of all skill levels. Summer time becomes a very busy place with hundreds of kids coming in for sports camps and elite groups of all ages training and rotating throughout the facility.

“We are working with everyone from 8 year olds learning the basics of volleyball in our volleyball academy to elite high school quarterbacks at a joint camp we offer with the QB Epic group; we just wrapped up our NBA combined training and were excited to watch them get picked on Draft Day, and our professional football players are back in July for their last round of training before their team training camp,” Alofs says.

Youth Training

SA Youth Programs are for the kids under 5 to begin athletic development. All day every day, SA offers Active Kids, their version of babysitting for boys and girls ages 2 to 5. For less than an average babysitter, you can drop your kids off at SA for fun, interactive, confidence-building games to encourage physical, mental and emotional growth. The classes are free while parents work out for those with a full circle fit membership.

“With the littles, we start at a basic level and incorporate physical activity with emotional, social and mental games to start building confidence and team dynamics,” Alofs explains.

Sports Academy also has a birthday party program where kids can access all the spaces of Sports Academy.

Full Circle Fit

SA offers 30+ different classes in their full circle fit program. Imagine all the boutique gyms, under one roof. It starts with their heated, humidified studio where classes feel more like private training than a group fitness class. From Yoga to spinning to boot camps on the gym floor, don’t be surprised if you are working out or taking a downward dog next to an NFL player or Olympic volleyball star. SA’s claim to fame with full circle fit is you train like a pro with varied classes and personal attention that help you crush the plateaus and keep it interesting at all times.

Seeing Is Believing

Above all, the ultimate goal of Sports Academy is simple.

“We want to help athletes unlock their next level of potential,” says Alofs, noting that Sports Academy was designed with the family in mind. “It is pretty simple—time is precious. We respect people’s time. We are here to save people time and to make the time they invest generate the highest return.”

“Instead of driving all across the city for practice, then food, tutoring, private training and even the doctors, we’ve curated all these services under one roof,” she says.

“We’re here to help each and every athlete that comes to us achieve their goals—from losing weight to becoming a pro—and we want to have fun in the process,” Alofs adds.
