Sprinkling Style into Events

Three Creative Party Services

Bax Illustration Live Caricatures

Brian Bax, owner of Bax Illustration started drawing caricatures in 2006 while working at Six Flags-St. Louis in a booth owned by Tom Richmond, who is an illustrator for Mad Magazine. Brian then decided to set the standard for live event caricatures by creating a uniformly talented group of artists. Now he has a growing team of 20-plus caricaturists in St. Louis, Kansas City, Memphis and San Diego.

The artists provide a variety of results: classic caricatures, digital caricatures, illustrations for gifts, caricature proposals and wedding Snapchat filters.

"We like to wow guests with keepsakes," Brian says. "A great caricature goes far beyond the drawing itself. We draw; you laugh."

Selfie Events St. Louis

Specializing in a new style of digital photo marketing, St. Louis Selfie Events owner Kathy TeBrink says her team and photobooth options help clients stand out through creative engagement and portability.

"We wander events and meet guests where they are, with a fun photo experience, complete with event branding or party look and feel," Kathy says.

St. Louis Selfie Events also offers an open-air green screen experience that allows clients to create their own theme or background to promote an event, a business or a brand. Kathy says the background image can be applied in real-time, allowing people to interact with the virtual background. Her green screens are powered by the latest technology available.

Kathy says booth setups work for weddings, milestone birthday, graduations, anniversaries, family reunions, charity causes and corporate events.

Way Cool Balloons

Michael Geerlof and his Way Cool Balloons team believe they are the most experienced balloon entertainers around. They specialize in performing at events of all kinds for all ages—often amazing people with outrageous balloon sculptures.

"We even create balloon outfits that people can actually wear," Michael says.

He says they perform at daycare centers, schools, senior retirement facilities, restaurants, weddings, nightclubs and special events. They also work with a group of face painters to deliver additional interactive guest services.
