Southern Comforts was filled with familiar faces as Marc Jones celebrated his 70th birthday with the kind of event people have come to expect from him, full of music, laughter, and plenty of personality. Known to many as The Consignor’s Designer, Marc marked the milestone the same way he has spent much of his life, on stage, entertaining a room full of people who have followed his work for years.
Long before he became known for interior design, Marc built a career as a performer that began in childhood television and grew into decades of singing, dancing, acting, and directing productions across the country. He appeared on stages from New York to Las Vegas and performed alongside well known entertainers throughout his career, experience that still shows every time he takes the microphone.
That background was on full display during the celebration as he performed some of his favorite songs, sharing stories between numbers and keeping the audience engaged from start to finish. The afternoon felt like one of his signature shows, something fans have enjoyed for years.
Marc has become known for blending design with performance, turning events at Southern Comforts into gatherings that feel part showroom, part concert, and part reunion.
