Boulder’s own Crystal Sagan bridges her bartending and business abilities into one with Cocktail Caravan (CocktailCaravan.com). You may have seen the beverage catering service at local festivals, fundraisers, or business events where she serves up some seriously decadent cocktails. Along with her team and a darling 1960s trailer in tow, the company offers “lovingly crafted” elixirs catered to every client’s needs. These are not your standard gin and tonics though. From their unique flavor profiles that complement a dinner event to on-brand custom cocktails for a high-design experience, Sagan always opts for quality and taste in equal parts. She enlists local spirits like Breckenridge Distillery Bourbon and Cap Rock Gin and works with local farmers to source fresh ingredients, such as carrots, kale, lavender, and cardamom to infuse into unexpected tinctures.

“We are always trying to connect with our guests,” says Sagan. “But because we don't have that opportunity right now, we had to get a little more creative.”

Cocktail Caravan can be booked for private events during COVID, and Sagan and her bartenders are hosting digital cocktail classes for aspiring mixologists near and far.

Virtual Toasting

For personal or corporate events, Cocktail Caravan can coordinate a group drop-off of cocktail supplies for guests to enjoy a digital “cheers.”
