Pain walked into Dr. Robert Nencheck’s life early. Relief didn’t. In Bedminster, he built Rehab Chiropractic Network to change that — favoring movement, strength and precise adjustments over prescriptions and surgery.
Since opening in 2022, Dr. Nencheck has focused on helping patients recover from chronic pain, spinal disc injuries and pinched nerves through noninvasive care and consistent, functional rehab.
Dr. Nencheck’s path to chiropractic care wasn’t conventional. Growing up in a home affected by opioid and drug addiction, he saw the dangers of dependency up close. What could have been a difficult environment became the catalyst for his mission. “I wanted to help people find alternatives to pain management,” he says. “I knew there had to be a better way.”
As a student-athlete, Dr. Nencheck played football and worked as a personal trainer. A sports-related back injury introduced him to chiropractic care for the first time and changed his perspective. “I realized recovery didn’t always mean medication or surgery,” he says. “It opened my eyes to how the body can heal naturally.”
After earning a degree in exercise science and physiology from Rutgers University, he completed his Doctor of Chiropractic at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. While there, he treated veterans at a VA hospital. One patient — barely able to walk because of a pinched nerve — stood and walked out of the room minutes after an L5 adjustment. “That moment confirmed I was doing what I was meant to do,” Dr. Nencheck says.
At Rehab Chiropractic Network, Dr. Nencheck oversees everything from consultations to personalized treatment plans. Each visit begins with a full evaluation to determine the best course of care. His philosophy is straightforward: pair mobility and strength work with targeted adjustments, and repeat consistently. The goal is a healthier, more mobile life.
He often uses a car analogy to explain maintenance. “Your body is like an engine,” he says. “Skip routine maintenance and it breaks down. Regular movement and adjustments are like oil changes — they keep everything running smoothly.”
To support whole-person care, Dr. Nencheck leases space to a massage therapist and a psychiatrist. New patients receive a brief office tour, a review of medical history, orthopedic and neurological testing, and a tailored plan. He also offers free consultations to ensure a good fit.
Outside the office, he practices what he teaches: a steady fitness routine, his own regular adjustments and volunteer service with the Far Hills First Aid Squad. Looking ahead, he hopes to expand to additional locations. “The goal is simple,” he says. “Help as many people as possible to live without pain.”
